re: Seattle day trip in September

Take the Bainbridge Islandferry and drive to Paulsbo early in the day. It's a Scandanavian harbor town that is very cool. Hit up a bakery for breakfast. Drive to Port Townsend and spend time there. Go to Fort Worden, where An Officer and a Gentleman was filmed. Stunning views of the water and Olympic mountains are everywhere.
