Rose was one of the most atrocious and out of place characters in a movie I can remember. She wasnt inspiring and she was a vessel to get some stupid message across. Kids do pick up on things like that.
I remember being bored as frick in certain movies when I was a kid. And they were targeting my demographic too.

I believe this. Whether they can define it or not, kids can tell bullshite when they see it. They know bad messages. Looking back, I know why certain cartoons were a massive hit for me, and why others not. Even I couldn't articulate it then, I KNEW bad humanity, bad philosophy when I saw it.
