And if he wouldn’t have gotten banged up in year 3, his first three seasons stats would look very similar to Thomas’. As it is, Colston had more TDs and a higher Y/C even though he saw 71 less targets
Take Colston’s per target numbers and extrapolate them using Thomas’ 417 targets
259 catches (Thomas 321 catches)
3615 yards (Thomas 3787 yards)
29 TDs (Thomas 23 TDs)
Lotta people thinking old man Colston. Young Colston was a different animal. He had a bunch of big plays down field, catch and runs etc
