The generic ones are useless and the name brands are much better..BUT the enclosed light fixtures pretty much wipes out any long term savings as the heat kills the bulb super fast... something LED bulbs haven't mastered yet. I use Phillip branded ones.

This is why I take the covers off the fixtures. I rarely have to replace bulbs
