How wasn't it diplomatic? he didn't actually call out LeBron he called out the situation. it's as if people aren't actually reading what he said.

He's said pretty similar things about not enjoying his run in Cleveland in multiple outlets as Woj pointed out. Most of his answer here was fairly diplomatic, but it only takes one sound bite to undo it all. His "I didn't enjoy winning a title" story never got negative attention until this interview where he said something that put LeBron in a bad light.
