My first thought was that if she takes a northern route through Turkey, stays north of Syria and heads towards Kazakh that she would be in safe countries. Even Iran is safe in that regard, assuming she isn't publicly speaking out against their government or religion, and obeys the law.

I have no idea about Turkmenistan though. We never hear about it which is usually a good thing.
