I’d like to see more courses offer student discounts if LSU closes. To my knowledge it’s the only local course that offers it.

After 3PM City Park, Webb, Dumas and Clark are all cheaper or in-line than LSU with Student Discount.

Before 3PM LSU is cheaper but not by much at all. All are in the $20 range.

There are days where you can get on courses with a lunch for under $30 in the BR Area.

Golf is very cheap in Baton Rouge as it is.

The discount seems better to me than that. You can play 18 with range balls at LSU for around $16 with tax M-Th and it's somewhere around $12 cheaper on the weekends. The good thing to me about LSU is that students can get play all times of the day any day.

I agree that golf is cheap in the area but I'd really hate to lose LSU as a course. I always loved playing the course and seeing Tiger Stadium in the background or hearing the cheers from Alex Box on the weekends.
