Check out this video of the Reverse Lunge on the Smith Machine at Extreme Fitness in Shreveport!

It is great for developing the Butt muscle, and is fun to watch too!

Link is a video off the Extreme Fitness public video site, it works but maybe have to be logged into Facebook to view. I re-linked just in case to help. Have you tried the Smith machine yet, I know you probably use the free barbell, but it looks like her form is tighter with the Smith equipment.

Smith machines force you to move your body in alignment with the machine in a mechanical form. Your body is fluid. It needs to move naturally. It’s fine for general fitness, I guess, but if you’re trying to test your measures of strength, free bar is the best way to go. You have to be able to have your natural mobility in your ankles and your hips. Smith machines can restrict that. However, if it helps you reach your goals, proceed.
