For me this season breaks down to what we see on the offensive side of the ball

LSU has no swag on the offensive side of the ball. In 2003 and 2007 LSU had both D and great offensive football.

After 2008 Les changed and 2011 was a D and ST driven team with a bunch of very solid running backs. Only Georgia and Bama slowed our running game and when forced to pass to win - the Natty showed the result.

I want to see a offense balance that when teams like Bama take away the run we can take advantage of what is given. Have not seen that in a long time.

I think I am going to see it but only time will tell. A team like Texas will be ripe to pluck if we can pass the ball. If I was playing against LSU my #1 goal would be to limit the ground game and make them show me they can hurt me in the air.

Man I hope I make that Texas game - would love it.

Joe B I think you are the man and Ja'Marr Chase Justin Jefferson Terrace Marshall Jr. with 6 ft 6 Dee Anderson have the talent but it all has to come together.

We shall all see

What the hell are you talking about, Padre? Anderson is as much 6’6” as Tremont Waters is 6’0”.

He wasn’t even billed as 6’6” as a senior in high school (when those numbers are most likely to be inflated).

So your basing his height off of a recruiting website that you just said isn’t typically accurate?

I grew about an inch or so in college. It’s not uncommon for guys.

This thread has turned into a debate over how tall LSU’s sixth-leading receiver is.

In this picture, #84 is listed as 6' 5" and #30 @ 6' even. They may inflate all the numbers but even if they do it sure looks like Dee (#11) is every bit of 6'6" Maybe taller if they didn't inflate # 84.

The combine will tell us the truth when he gets there.
