What was your favorite childhood toy that most people probably have never heard of. I enjoyed playing with Bone Age sets. They were only available from 87-88.

1970s. Had this and the one for the pacific island, too. Would spend all day launching those planes

That's so cool. That toy seems familiar. Did you use rubber bands to launch the planes?

What most people today probably never heard of..

But back then, I had a life size human skeleton anatomical replica. I loved terrifying people with that thing.

Yes, I do believe so. The pacific island (WWII) one was awesome. Came in this little fold up case and all so everything was nice and neat. Was out around the time of the Black Sheep Squadron show (late 70s). As an elementary school age kid my brother and I played that all the time.

Those little planes would launch and fly pretty decent for what they were.

G.I.Joe aircraft carrier. I'd say it was uncommon because I'm sure none of you commoners had one

I don't remember it being overly expensive. I just think most parents didn't want a 6' plastic aircraft carrier sitting in the living room.

ETA: correction, just read the caption 7 1/2'. Holy cow that thing was huge.

Nunchucks I made from a broom stick, boot lace and nails. There weren't many toys to play with. I was raised a poor. I remember the Christmas I got a yahtzee game from Santa. Good times.
