If TigerDroppings remains just a message board on a web site, and doesn't evolve, it will die out eventually.

What happens is fewer and fewer people will end up signing up for a message board format, the user base slowly declines, and then one day the people who are here will find it more and more boring with no more 24/7 constant activity. Eventually it ends.

A lot of once extremely popular message boards have declined this way when social networking got involved.

Man I’ve tried every platform out there and I haven’t run into anything that sucks me in quite like the message board. Reddit, Twitter and Instagram etc are all impossible to navigate. Facebook has been irrelevant for a while now unless you want hot political takes from someone’s grandpa.
