Hey, if he doesn't want to compete for the job, let him go to a place that will hand him the job and he will not get any better! At LSU, you have to work hard to earn your spot and not expect it just because you were a high school star. Big time college football is about proving yourself against the best in the country every day and earning everything you get. No freebies at LSU, especially at DBU!

I really don’t see the need for some posters here to tell others how to feel and what to post.
This is called The Rant for a reason.

Your point would land a little better if the player featured in the thread didn't just cut & run so he could find a place that let him smoke more weed.
does anyone else wish LSU would stop all this of testing players for weed? Seems stupid the way we lose players and recruits to Bama, Florida, and other teams that really don't give a shite if a player smokes weed. NOt only that, but other drugs, stimulants, and PEDs (our PED program seems to be lagging far behind many of our rivals in the SEC)

If he transfers somewhere and has to sit out a year, he'll never stay on the team long enough to see the field. He should stay here and finish as soon as he can and have a good chance to play in the nfl. Or go down a level and try to ball out. But his off field stuff and attitude are going to kill his nfl chances if he goes this route.

Will we be ok on the 85 limit if he stays?

This is just stupid.
NCAA requires drug testing. It’s an illegal drug. I don’t really care what your view on it is, but it’s illegal.
quote:
The NCAA and its member schools share the responsibility of not only testing, but also educating student-athletes to prevent drug usage. The NCAA conducts testing at its championships, and year-round on campus in Division I and II programs. In addition, the majority of institutions conduct their own institutional testing programs independent of NCAA drug testing. The NCAA spends more than $6 million annually on drug testing and education in an effort to deter the use of banned and harmful substances.
