At that point, I was honestly worried about this country. Even though I do not agree with some in the multiple layers of government, I at least would like to know that they possess a basic level of competence.

Mueller was lost, and unfortunately is a man who was chosen in this role for his reputation as much as his declining cognitive ability.

But perhaps more worrisome, it was a confirmation that Mueller was simply a figurehead. Whoever is pulling the strings did not want him testifying today, hence the statement made by Mueller (also not written by him) weeks ago.

This is rock bottom for whatever group of people trying to hold onto power in this country. They need to be hunted down and made an example of. I'm confident that is happening.

You are more optimistic than I am. I am confident nothing at all will ever happen to anyone involved in this attempted coup.
