Dad was a Kennedy Democrat. He would be losing his mind over the direction of the party right now, were he still among us.

I mean, he even liked Bill Clinton a lot. But in this day and age, the center has shifted so far to the left that a Bill Clinton presidency was barely farther to the left than a modern Trump presidency.

Trump is trying his damndest to hold the line and pull it back toward the actual middle. And he's not getting much help. At all.
