All gauges are below the safety zone to close. Bad thing is crawfish are like rock in the spillway. Plenty of them and they are big but hard. Still may give it one boil

there is no good news no matter what they do


the entire lake will die and become toxic and the devastation effects will be felt for years to come

Close it and after a month of tides and maybe a good influx of water from a tropical system will bring it around. Like flushing the toilet.

Yeah. A small gulf storm will change things quick. We probably aren't that lucky though.
