quote:ah, yes, the "we were predicted to go 6-6/7-5 last year and look how it turned out!" pro-O argument.
So a 10 win season last year when smart money had the over/under at 7 and you are questioning if the coaches are good or not?
The only reason some sites had LSU over/under at 7 last year is because of the coaching staff. O had shown in his first full year the ability to keep a good DC and run off an OC who had an impressive resume and still had the best showing against Bama statistically in a while.
LSU had much better talent than going 6-6/7-5 last year and you know it.
No LSU fan with a clue expected 6-6/7-5 last year. No one.
quote:And you're the type to pull stuff out of your arse, I guess? I hope we both get to try this theory of yours after a Bama win. It's been a while. I suspect none of us will complain if we win 2-0 in T-town this year. But, you can claim what you want....
You're the type who would complain that we didn't beat bama by enough points or bama gave us the game.

I did... I bet money on the over and won slick. Are you that slow that you did't even recognize that the talent alone can win you 8-9 games (see Miles Era). With a half way decent qb and a coach who doesn't run, run, pass that would easily get us over 7. Not saying we beat bama...but I do expect at least 10 wins this year. Furthermore, with the receivers and lineman returning the play book and concepts open up more, it's why veteran teams are tougher to beat.
