Thinking back on some of the greatest LSU teams, who would win if played each other today. The 2003 Nick Saban squad, or the 2011 Les Miles squad???

2003. For the same reason the 2011 team lost to bama in the NC game, coaching. 2003 had less overall talent, but they had a lot better coaching. That was a very good defense. And they would have exploited the 2011 offense. The only problem was the 2003 offense wasn't a great offense, but they played one of the most talented defenses in the 2000's. That Okie defense was fricking loaded with All Americans and future NFLer's and LSU's offense found ways to score. Because they had a great OC. The 2011 team had a mediocre OC, and that would have been the difference, just like it was in the NC game.

I say 2003 bc JJ nor Lee would be able to get a first down on the 2003 defense.

Back end of 06 would beat anybody. They were the best team in the nation at the end easily

2003 because of defense. Although, with the 2011 D full of playmakers, including the Honey Badger himself, the way Mauck almost gave away the Sugar Bowl, I could see 11' team capitalizing on mistakes and possibly taking a few to the house. If Jefferson is starting at QB though, they don't get past the 50. Throw in the 07' squad and Hester able to keep the chains moving, that squad could take either of the others to 3OT at least.

It's not possible to determine.

EXAMPLE: equipment is lighter and tougher, rule changes are varied and vast, media influence, larger athletes currently, social media facilitating 'SPYING' (Alabama's Specialty).. All of these factor in to make a climate of accurate comparisons impossible.
