Yea I thought about repacing my 2008 Silverado dash and Ieatched the how to video and nope, i did look into the dashskin but it was ~300$ I believe I just lived with the cracks.

my 2010 gmc developed cracks with months of me buying it. GM replaced it under warranty and it took them two days to do it. Are the gm dashes the new dodge dash of the 90's
