I have no idea. But they were both great for tennis

But comparing Mac to williams for what they did for the game also doesn’t make sense

Love her or hate her, Williams increased viewership of women’s tennis a huge amount while she re-wrote the record books

Johnny Mac was a great player but not really comparable to Williams in their respective divisions

I’ll have to disagree. Women’s was at its best when they had some cuties: Hingis and Sharapova. And the competition was even. I don’t know a person alive who started watching because of SW. Most women care more about football then any other women’s sports combined

you don’t think Johnny Mac brought non tennis fans out? And his push for Davis Cup? He’s did far more for tennis than SW.

And SWs antics do not inspire a casual viewer to go out and watch her.
