I don’t do asterisk. But each title has a story a narrative. This “all titles are the same” or “as long as you win the title nothing else matters” narratives is casual fan fodder. Those of us who really follow the league are able to analyze a little more and see that some titles are better than others. Some are more of an accomplishment than others. The last two that weren’t won by Gsw were very much influenced by injury. Very very much influenced tbt.

If you go back in history most titles won had some degree of opponent injury factored into them. It's almost like this is sports and you'll rarely have two teams in the Finals that are healthy.
Winning any kind of title > not winning one.
