Your friend should look in the immediate area around the Prytania business corridor around Robert Street. Anything a person could need is within a 2 minute walk.

Same as west riverside. It’s ridiculous that someone will pay $2000/mt living downtown when they can pay under $1500 for a 2nr in a better part of town. Tons of restaurant and shopping options in this area as well.
