Just so we're on the same page, you do realize Scherzer has had a better career than Verlander?

I could be wrong, because they're very comparable, but the WS thing makes a difference for me.

So I went to the MLB comparison website, and looked at all the numbers.

Comparatively speaking, Scherzer has a slight edge in most categories, likely from the difference in leagues and overall team competitiveness

JV has more time doing it, but the thing that really stood out was that Scherzer, while facing more NL lineups and playing less seasons, still has given up 1 more HR than Verlander in their careers.

Scherzer really needs to a WS to cement his place, even though he's looking favorable at this point.
