TBoy is right on this one. It was a multilateral deal, but the US leaving it technically breaks the agreement. It doesnt help that Russia is trying to back out as well. The US 'cast the first stone' for this contract.
Look. Im not saying leaving the deal was a bad decision. I understand the reasoning. But breaking part of a contract and expecting the other side not to respond is naive. It was inevitable that Iran would do more once the US left.

If the agreement is broken due to the U.S. rightfully backing out, then there is nothing for Russia to back out of right?
