Yeah, Alaphilippe and Sagan’s teams will keep them in contention for the finish. Somebody will go on the break to scoop up points...too 4 from today put in a lot of effort, but they also all scooped up mountain points. Meurisse is a good pick to go and Berhane. The break has a good chance, but there is too much at stake for Quickstep and Alaphilippe can finish this one off.
Look for a classics guy like Naesen to be in the break...that could be dangerous.

Stage 6 was fun to watch. Unpredictability is great. When one team dominates it sucks the fun out if it.
The most interesting thing today was that G Thomas looked strong but his main domestique, Wout Poels, was toasted early on the climb. If Poels is hurting or out of shape, that could really hurt Thomas and Bernal in the mountains.
Sad to see Tejay fade. Props to him for clawing back on the descent, but he didn’t even get to rest before the final killer climb. He did admit before the stage that it did not suit his style, and he expected to do better in the big mountains with lesser grades.
