Season 3 is better than season 2, imho.
On episode 7 now, will finish it after work tomorrow.

Just finished. It wasn't bad, but I definitely get the hate. There's only so much SJW bullshite you can cram into one show. The dick-tease lesbian was a nice touch, complete with the "I always stared at you in class" setup before the big "womp womp, she's a lesbian" punchline.
I loved how they wrote in the black girl as smart and above it all with the constant stink face, but then they had her trying to break open the canister and drink the glowing green goo.
And of course, the anti-American dogma at the carnival, juxtaposed with 4th of July images. "It doesn't get any more American - fatty foods, ugly decadence, rigged games (
). . . designed to present the illusion of fairness (themselves, projecting). . . put money in the rich man's pocket, that's America."
Holy shite. How obvious does it have to get?
It goes along pretty well, if a little bit corny and convenient/lazy. Then, in episode 7, it just turns on you. I guess that's the best 80's reference of all - a show that preaches social messages once its course has run out. A la Tom Hanks as the alcoholic uncle in Family Ties or Dudley getting molested at the bike shop (if this has Disney connections, it's probably a whole lot like that. Isn't Millie getting molested by some rapper guy?). We just have different banal social issues today.
Obviously, they set it up for a 4th season, but you can only run basically the same plot so many times, and they are clearly out of ideas.
