He didn’t admit it he blamed Canada for everything he even constructed a dishonest smear campaign in the press to blame Canada. And Canada wasn’t even his idea he didn’t go out and hire Canada the AD did because Orgeron has refused to hire any OC besides Ensminger, he’s even lied about contacting and offering other OCs.

Orgeron has also admitted to the mistake. For whatever reason some are able to move on while you, and others, cannot. Also not sure why you’re calling out anyone for white knighting a coach

The OP made this unncessary thread. Did you really think that the coach's decision making wasn't going to be brought up?

I absokutely expected this thread to go like it has. Any thread that discusses football coaches in any capacity always end up in the same place.

So you find value in having the same conversations for all 8 months of the offseason? Like I said, I find that funny

i dont concern myself with things i dont care about. maybe youre different. why do you care what other posters are talking about? also, youre acting like there wasnt OC news today. this isnt a random issue today

There’s always “news” about the football team every couple of days. All news should not require days of back and forth with the same people and talking points from the last time “news” broke. I never said I cared, I just find it funny. Y’all may “care” too much, just a thought

you care enough to form an opinion on the subject and post several times in a thread. not caring would be not responding.
this news happened today. i dont see whats funny or odd about discussing a subject that presented itself today.

Can't believe we ran a system that featured the FB pass as a legit routine check down with all the athletes we have on this team. Would love to know what percentage of our plays featured FBs/TEs and the "F" position over putting the WRs we had on that team in 2017 onto the field.

to each his own I think it's funny/odd, you don't. Total shocker you don't agree with me, didn't expect you to. Regardless, not going to belabor the point any further because I have absolutely zero interest in arguing semantics with you for the next 12 hours, because we all know you would most certainly do just that. (I don't expect you to agree with that comment either, so you can save yourself the time of responding, thanks)

i think its funny that you think its odd that lsu fans are discussing the OC on the day the OC got an extension.

Are you implying that Slingner had an effective offense against Bama last year?

He received a settlement from LSU and Maryland owes him money so I don't think he has to work this season.

n't believe O hired an OC who would be out of work just one season later. Oh well, on the bright side, the guy did score more points against Bama in two quarters than O and E have in eight

So you mean that Ed and Canada scored more on bama than Ed and Ensminger.

Not really.

Canada went above Orgeron when he started trying to dictate what the offense was going to do. (Remember when Alleva told Orgeron to let the coordinators do their job)

Ensminger will do whatever Orgeron tells him to do.

Lol wow facts are your friend, he was offered a few jobs this off season, OC at Pitt, OC at Indiana and HC at Northern Illinois and he wasn’t fired at Maryland, he was never the head coach, he was the interim coach because the head man had disciplinary problems. Besides all the misinformation you’re pushing your argument is totally beside the point and nothing but a straw man. The actual point is Canada has never had problems with anyone other than Ed Orgeron and that rumor was started by Orgeron only after Canada signed a NDA and was unable to respond to them. A real class act that Orgeron, that’s why multiple coaches came to Canada’s defense calling what Orgeron did disgraceful over the summer last year.

Links or this is pure fantasy.
