Well, his best US design is probably Cypress Point, then Augusta, then Crystal Downs.... Nonetheless, Pasatiempo is an absolutely incredible golf course. We’re it private and “exclusive” it would be ranked a lot higher than where it is. I have it as the second best I’ve ever played and it’s probably architecturally better than my first best.
I honestly don’t think it’s that tough other than the greens. I shot an 82 there with only one double.
Well worth extending your radius from San Fran. It’s definitely where I’d play in that area if I weren’t gonna do Pebble.

I just love the bunkering and scale at Pasa, and you're right because it's semi private it doesn't rank is high as it should. It's of course subjective and there's no right answer, but I just think Pasa is better than Crystal Downs. Cypress is an arguement where you could convince me.
