Guy on Reddit posted a few months back that Shitsy was the luckiest player on tour. Using a combo of service points won and return points won, he claims that players should have a certain win percentage, and Tsitsipas was way out of line (lucky) in regard to his raw numbers.
I haven’t read the whole post or all of the comments, but it did seem like Shitsy was pulling out too many close wins for an extended stretch. Some of the commenters replied that he may be clutch as opposed to lucky, but the poster claims that historically the idea of being clutch is mostly a myth, which I tend to agree with.

Interesting. I'm going to tackle this when I'm less baked.

The problem with the Next Gen is that almost all of them have awful return games if you look at their stats. That's why Felix is so much better than the rest of the Next Gen players. He's won 24% of his return games on hard court for his career which is a higher break percentage than Federer and Djokovic had at the same points in their careers. The guy has the tools to be an excellent returner.
