Interesting stat playing around with rankings numbers.
The lowest ranked player to make the main draw (through qualifying) is Yuichi Sugita, ranked 245 with 176 points. But hypothetically if he were to win the tournament, those 2000 points would move him up to #14. lol.

This dude Cedrik-Marcel Stebe is ranked 518th. He keeps showing up for big events under a protected ranking and cashing checks. His last official match was a Futures event and he retired down 6-4, 2-1 to a guy ranked 628th.
