St. Augustine, what did you do to help make you sleep? I slept maybe 3 hours last night and had a hard time with everything. I’m struggling this morning with some serious depression/anxiety and trying to figure out how to get out of it and better.

I was on the pain meds from Tuesday afternoon to Thursday afternoon. Would I really be experiencing withdrawal?

I just went through a hernia repair surgery three weeks ago and had the same reaction. The sweats was the worst. I would wake up in a puddle of sweat and then would get the chills. I've had quite a few surgeries in my life and this was not my normal reaction. Never ran a fever, just the sweats, which made it difficult to sleep. I was on the pain killers for four days and it took about that long to get over the crappy way they made me feel. Hang in there.

Just stopped taking the meds before bed. Also move around during the day. Keep that leg up, but go from a recliner to a couch, move around every 30 mins. Hard to sleep when you’re laying around all day. Wake up early and get yourself on a more normal schedule.

Nah. That’s a very short period of time. Sometimes you just have a weird reaction. See it all the time and lived it. We’re all wired differently.
