Never understood why they call this a "World Series" when just about any team can play as long as they spend the $ to go. It's not like it's the best of the best playing each other. I have a nephew that was on a team that won like 5 games all spring and summer but got to play in the "World Series".

Ding Ding Ding
For USSSA the real World Series is the Elite 32 in Disney. Anything other than that is just a money grab.
Not that the Elite 32 isn't a money grab as well, but you have to legitimately earn a berth to it at least.

Now they added some, I think Global WS, where you have to play in a USSSA State tournament to qualify. Just play, not even place.
