I think all 3 LSU prospects have some upside, with none being complete players and all requiring a lot of development.
I think Reid probably has then highest ceiling. I wouldn’t be upset if we took a flyer on him in the second round. Flawed player, but young and potential is there.
Waters I could see developing into a decent role player, but I think the Tim Frazier comment is spot on. His ceiling is like a plus Tim Frazier.
If I’m Tremont, I beg E’tuan Moore to work out with me so I could study his floater. If Waters can develop a shot like Moore’s floater, he could be a decent NBA role player (as opposed to a good overseas player).
I could see Kavell Bigby-Williams developing into a decent role player and back-up rebounder and rim protector. He has the least upside, but is good at the things he does well. His free throw shooting would suggest there’s a possibility he could develop a mid-range shot and be slightly more of an offensive weapon than just a put-back specialist.
He’s likely undrafted, but he may develop enough to be a situational NBA backup a year or two down the road. Would need to add 10-20 pounds without losing any athleticism.
