If a woman/girl is old enough to be taken to pound town then she should be old enough to read directions on a pill bottle.
If birth control becomes over the counter and it's completely up to women to read and follow directions without ever talking to a doctor then 1) no one should ever trust that again ever. And 2) strokes and bloodclots will skyrocket.

Easy Tiger.
It’s about 1 out of 1,000 women who develop clots on birth control. If we assume 1,000,000 new birth control users with it being over the counter, that’s 1,000 more clots.
Assuming all those clots result in strokes, that’s 1,000 more strokes for a total increase of .1%.

You can't be serious

I’m not sure blood clots will sky rocket within the general population but there are definitely some people who are predisposed and should not take birth control.
The bigger issue is not all BC pills are the same. It can take time and some trial and error to find the pill and dosage that works best with your body with the fewest side effects.
