Dying Light, worth it?

On sale on Steam, looked pretty good. Anyone play this? Looked like parkour zombie game. Some reviews made it sound like it's more melee than ranged weapons which sounds like a possible no for me if that's true. I want to shoot zombies not beat them to death with their own shoes.

It's an amazing game I loved it. It is heavily melee. You can make a ton of crazy weapons with different abilities like fire, electricity, etc. There are guns in the game but in my experience they are few and far between.

It's a great game but 90% melee early game. Some of the best first person melee for it's time though. You also get to mod weapons and make some pretty cool stuff like an electrified machete or a baseball bat with a saw blade. You do get access to a lot of guns mid to late game.

Definitely worth it at that price. Make sure you get the grappling hook as early as possible.
