They did steal the concept and it was not a Tuscaloosa restaurant but so what. It was founded in Auburn, AL and the first restaurant was in Haleyville. A few other companies also used the same concept.
Chick-fil-A did not invent the chicken sandwich.
McDonalds was not the first fast food restaurant.
They took an idea and marketed it better so that post and your dog-whistle response are both irrelevant.

Yep.
It's funny that part of the marketing for Cane's used to be how the idea was used for his senior thesis, or some sort of BA project while in college in Georgia, and he was given a C for the effort. He went on to prove that professor wrong.
Yeah, he regurgitated an existing concept and the professor rewarded him accordingly.

Wait, are we talking about Guthrie's? If so, it is for sure better than Cane's. Without a doubt. We just got one near where I live a few years ago and it has brought back wonderful memories of college.
