His world revolved around his grandkids. All he could think about was being able to play golf and fish with them as they got older. When we was in the hospital and we were alone in the room, he started crying and said that he was afraid to die because he wouldn't be able to be here with them. He passed a little over a year ago and he was only 59. I miss the hell out of him.

That's exactly how my dad lived his last words were I want to be by the kids. So, I wheeled him into the living room and he stayed there until he passed away. I feel blessed and at the same time miserable because hes gone. We were lucky to have such a great dad.
