The Gibson's do not deserve anywhere near that much money

These people tried to take the food out of the mouths of the Gibsons, their children, their employees and their employees' dependents. They tried to destroy them.

They lied about them, and accused them of one the worst things you can be accused of in America-systemic racism. They, at the urging of one of their Deans, encouraged mobs to intimidate and spread lies about a five generation family business, who had the nerve to take
exception to being robbed.

They tried to blackmail them.

Think about that. A reknowned university tells a small business, that in order for them to regain their cancelled contracts with the university, they should promise to not report 1st time shoplifters from Oberlin to the police, but to the school.
That's what the mafia does.

The Gibsons had to lay off every non-family member working at the store, and did not themselves take salaries for 2 years.

As far as I'm concerned, the jury didn't go far enough.

Punitive is meant to punish. This college thought they could ruin a family with slander and calling them racists.

As long as Jesse Jackson and Obama are revered in the SJW culture; this practice of slander and false racism is not going away real soon.

Is CNN reporting this? hell to the no, if they are it is to take the race baiting colleges' side. I don't think even this amount of money or more-- will get on the MSM news-- as a warning to all of them to fricking stop it already!
