What this guy said ^ honestly, this should be a full-time position and not added to someone's existing duties.
Having an experienced analytics person that can help you leverage the data and tell you where to spend your marketing dollars can save you $$$$ in the long run. The position basically pays for itself

We hired some folks to add GA headers on certain high traffic pages. Several years later the realized no one was doing anything with this and asked me to see what I could find.
So far I'm providing dashboards on browsers and OS along with some limited reporting on mobile devices.
Not I've become intrigued with breaking out certain heavily traffic pages as we have 10 million+ hits a month and looking into what our customers are doing (some of the data returns some general info about our customers..we are a large b2b site) and now I'm going further down the rabbit hole to analyze this data.
