No way of knowing. If he feels at all it’s the GS doctor’s fault, he isn’t staying.
If they win it without him, he probably isnt staying either. He will get a max from somewhere else. Easy.

How did your NBA career work out after the injury?

I didn’t even think you needed an MRI to diagnose a torn Achilles’ tendon.

Not too good But I could run and do everything normal within a month.

Of course we won't.
If his management team released that info publicly, or wasn't vague-wishy-washy about it, they should all be fired.
He's going to opt out. Someone will offer him the max-- yes, its not a risk neutral proposition, but if you are a team that struggles to make a big splash, isn't it worth that risk?
You get him back at 100%, you get one of the three best players in basketball; you get him back at 80%, you probably get your money's worth. You get him back at 60%, you aren't much worse off than you would have been with two bad free agency decisions, and you take your lumps.

I wouldn't think they would immediately release the status of his injury but who knows.
I also don't get how it takes an entire day to tell the team the results of his MRI. I'm assuming the doctor looking at is pretty damn good at his job

He's staying in the bay.
The GM crying the other night might have made him feel the love
