How could they trade for Conley without sending out Hayward or Horford?
Conley makes $30 somethign million. There's no way the Celtics would have cap space to make that uneven trade.

I mean I was just spitballing. But clearly, Ainge has a plan and is confident in it if Woj is out there saying it is the backup plan if Kyrie walks.
The important takeaway is that Ainge seems motivated to do more than just develop his young guys and is willing to spend assets to do it. Meaning the assumption that without Kyrie, Boston may be more reserved in their pursuit of AD seems incorrect.

Yeah, they would have to send Hayward out to match money (which I dont think they would have an issue doing)
Salary wise it would work with
BOS: AD,Conley
NO: Smart, Tatum, Williams
MEM:Hayward
