I have been looking into biofiltration and bog filters and came across an article about a guy using both at the same time.
Just wondering if anyone has had experience with either. Also curious if it is feasible with ducks. Seems to be a good option with fish.

I've got one that's around 10'x 8'. I use a pump that is in the pond and it pumps to a filter like the one below. The pump is rated for 3000 gallons and handles the pond just fine. I've also got water hyacinth to help.
I only have goldfish and koi though.

This is my pond that I built a few years ago. I have a few koi in it right now but you'll need a good pump, filter, waterfall and a couple of aeration lines going into it. You'll need to clean it about once a month and you NEED shade. A pond with no shade will be an algae breeding ground that is a headache.
