We have two former catchers on staff and the position has been poorly coached for two years now.
We've been a poorly coached baserunning team for several years now.
Watson has been braindead on the bases his entire career.
I get that there is limited practice time due to NCAA rules, but it seems like we aren't maximizing the time we do have given the lack of team fundamentals.

Nelson was a very highly regarded defensive catcher coming out of high school. He was Team USA guy a couple times I think.
