It ain't a great pic but that looks like a venomous snake to me. Poster above is correct about the Copperhead I think.

Juvenal Cottonmouth, or possibly a different water snake. Definitely not a Copperhead

I'm going with cottonmouth also. While SOME of the marks resemble that of a copperhead, not all do. Copperheads have pretty damn consistent markings. I would bet this is a relatively young cottonmouth. Once they mature, their bodies become thicker (fat). This one is pretty slim.
