I live 6 miles from it and haven’t been in 3 years. I see a ton of shiny boats headed that way on weekends but don’t hear of many fish being caught. Last I heard the grass had gotten really bad. I know it was the last time I took my kids bream fishing.

When I went it wasn't bad but of course warm weather may have made it grow by now. They do have the south ramp closed because of the Giant Salvinia thats been found. Also that cove is closed off while they try and eradicate it.

I will say one thing fun for kids to do is swim in the beach area. Get some decent goggles and a few cans of dog food and the little bream with be there by the hundreds in about 4' water. My niece and nephews enjoyed the heck out of that last year when I took them.
