I find it funny that if the Lakers don't trade Russel to the Nets in 2017, they don't take Ball with the #2 pick the next year and most likely take Tatum.
They would have had Russel and Tatum to throw at us when the trade demand happens and we probably take it.

You could probably write a book on all the mistakes the Lakers have made in the last few years, even if you don’t touch on actually signing the Mozgov and Deng deals.

Also, what if they had simply drafted Fox instead of Lonzo? How would a package headlined by Fox and Ingram rank against other potential trade packages?

The Lakers could easily and very realistically have Deangelo, Randle, Ingram and Tatum. It’s pretty incredible how they fricked that up.

Fox is up and coming. Improved his shot and he's made better decisions passing and facilitating

Fox is a really good player. He is maturing and making pretty good decisions on the court. His speed is killer.
