I never had much of an opinion on Tesla, until I drove one. The lot I work for has a 2017 Model S. The handling and acceleration is crazy. I hope it never sells so I can keep driving it.

It crushed every comparable car, and most cars twice its price in many respects.

I never cared or had an option either. I was indifferent. Then I drove one, complete game changer. it's just not close, other comparable cars are so far behind.

I got to drive a Tesla Model S for a few hours. Friend married a Tesla engineer and needed my truck to move.
Never had more fun driving a vehicle. If you turn the radio off, it’s silent. It had some self drive tech with a dozen or so sensors on the car. The dashboard shows the lanes next to you and when vehicles are around like Mario Kart. You flip the blinker when no cars are in the opposite lane, the car automatically changes lanes. Super cool, but I think you have to touch the wheel every 10 seconds to use it, not like you crack open the morning paper and let it drive
