NFl pensions are considerably larger for players who got credited years after 2000 than for those in the 1980's.
It is not peanuts.

Its not great either

Peyton is expected to make 107k a year from his nfl pension. And he played 18 seasons

A guy like Dorsey can expect to make like 60k a year. But that wont be until 55. The quote about him "enjoying a nice big pension now" just isnt factual
