A poor driving car is always crappy, even if it starts and goes every time. Just my opinion, but I’d rather drive something with inspiring handling characteristics that I may have to put in the shop from time to time. Show me a car that parts don’t wear on and it’s likely one I don’t want to drive.

Just admit it. You like tinkering with shite. It's ok, you're among friends here. Youd get bored if you had a car that didnt break down on occasion.

Yeah that's all fair.

I think you're stepping into a 3rd realm altogether though.

Reliability =/= quality =/= driving experience

Everyone values those and other characteristics differently.
