So Kia decided to rip off Range Rover?
I'm fine with that as long as it's not a shitty brand anymore.

Kia has come a long way with reliability. Here is consumer reports top ten by brand in descending order, Kia is 5th. Note Honda is no longer in the top ten, they have had several years of significant issues with quality.
Lexus
Toyota
Mazda
Subaru
Kia
Infiniti
Audi
BMW
Mini
Hyundai
This is there worst 10 with Volvo at the worst, note there are some brands like Land Rover and Jag with too few data points.
Volvo
Cadillac
Tesla
Ram
GMC
Chrysler
Chevrolet
Jeep
Dodge
Lincoln
The only issue with the Telluride is it is new so there is basically no reliability info on it.
In the end, ALL cars are much better than 10 years ago and tons better than 20 years ago so it isn't like even a Volvo falls apart on the way home from the dealership and for most it isn't a big issue in the first 75-100K. Toyota and Lexus start to make better sense when you go 200-300k. One issue that hasn't been discussed is resale if you don't drive a car until the wheels fall off that should be part of the financial decision, that said few people buy a car with their head instead of their heart.
