You're absolutely right about this. I think Reid has done well defensively at 1st, but I never thought Beloso was bad defensively. Beloso and Reid with someone else at DH is a better option than Hughes. You can then go with whoever is hot at DH. If Digiacomo struggles, you can go to Dugas, Willis, etc.
If Hughes stays in the lineup then you have pinch hit for him with one of those guys in big situations and show the other team that there can be a solid hitter at the 9 hole.
